Expel the Student Involved in Repeated Acts of Violence Against Girls

The Issue

I am a concerned student at Lower Richland High School in Columbia, SC. It has come to my attention that a student who has repeatedly been involved in acts of violence against girls is still allowed to attend school. This situation is deeply personal to me as it seems our educational institution is indirectly condoning domestic violence.

Domestic violence is a serious issue that affects many people across the country. According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV), nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States. This equates to more than 10 million women and men over the course of one year.

In this case, allowing student, Jayden Davis, who has repeatedly been involved in such violent acts against girls to continue attending school sends out a dangerous message - that such behavior can be overlooked or even implicitly condoned. This not only endangers other students but also undermines our efforts towards creating safe and respectful learning environments.

We must take immediate action and ensure that Jayden faces appropriate consequences for his actions. We urge our school administration and local authorities to investigate these incidents thoroughly and take necessary steps towards expelling him from school if found guilty. Jayden Davis needs to be expelled from Lower Richland.
