As a passionate collector of Pokémon merchandise, it is incredibly disheartening to face exorbitant costs for importing Pokémon items into India. For me and many other devotees, Pokémon is more than just a hobby—it's an exciting and engaging way of life. We connect through our shared love for these fascinating creatures, but are restricted by limited access to Pokémon centers or vending machines in our country.

Despite the vast number of Pokémon enthusiasts in India, we're forced to pay up to three times the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) to acquire beloved collectibles and essential items. Import taxes, shipping costs, and other fees heavily inflate the prices, making it difficult, if not impossible, for average collectors, fans, and even casual admirers to afford them.

India has a booming market of anime and gaming fans who are avid consumers of pop culture merchandise. Establishing Pokémon centers or vending machines here not only acknowledges the significant demand but also taps into a thriving market with great economic potential for the franchise.

By expanding availability to India, Pokémon can foster an even more inclusive global community, where fans everywhere have equal opportunities to enjoy and collect Pokémon items. Establishing vending machines or local Pokémon centers ensures that all fans can purchase their favorite merchandise at fair prices and feel valued by the Pokémon family.

We call upon The Pokémon Company to recognize the demand and address this disparity by adding Pokémon vending machines and centers in India.
