Dear KTH community,

We, the undersigned students, alumni, and supporters of the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), are deeply concerned about the severe lack of spots available in the graduation ceremonies. According to the management report of 2022, there are approximately 13,583 full-time students. KTH only holds two ceremonies each season, accommodating a total of 600 students for all five schools. With a total of 13,583 full-time students, even accounting for non-graduates within this figure, it's evident that allocating only 600 spots for the graduation ceremony each season falls significantly short of meeting demand.

The current situation puts immense pressure on graduating students, jeopardizing their opportunity to participate in this significant milestone. Many deserving graduates are being left out due to the scarcity of space, depriving them of the chance to celebrate their hard-earned achievements.

Therefore, we urgently call upon KTH to take immediate action and expand the number of graduation ceremonies to accommodate all graduates.

Every student deserves the opportunity to commemorate their academic journey and successes with pride and dignity.
