We, the undersigned citizens of Woodstock, Ontario, are writing to express our deep concern regarding the inadequate bus service provided in our community, particularly on Sundays and after 10pm.
While the bus services have just recently adjusted their Saturday service to run at 6am-10pm instead of 8am. We need more changes done to the infrastructure that is the Woodstock Bus System.

The lack of bus service on Sundays severely limits our mobility and access to essential services, recreational activities, and social gatherings as well as those who work. This is especially challenging for individuals without personal transportation, students, seniors, and those with disabilities.
Additionally, the early termination of bus service at 10pm poses significant safety risks, especially for late-night workers, students, and individuals returning from social events. The lack of reliable transportation options can lead to increased reliance on potentially unsafe alternatives, such as walking at night

I as well as multiple other members of the community believe that expanding bus service to include Sundays and extending operating hours beyond 10pm is essential to improve the quality of life for all Woodstock residents. By doing so, we can:

 * Enhance accessibility: Provide transportation options for everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic status or physical abilities.
 * Improve safety: Reduce the risk of accidents and crime by providing safe and reliable transportation alternatives.
 * Stimulate economic growth: Support local businesses and attract visitors by making it easier to get around town.
 * Reduce environmental impact: Promote sustainable transportation by reducing reliance on personal vehicles as there is already way too many cars on the road in Woodstock!
