CFA Volunteers put in countless hours training, community educating, truck and station maintenance as well as responding to emergencies for no compensation.

We don't want to get paid but it's insulting that despite the amount of time we selflessly commit to responding to emergencies we also have to pay for the privilege of providing an emergency service for ourselves.

It's time that the Victorian state government recognised the work of CFA volunteers and exempted them from having to pay this tax.
