The petition is with respect to the sevas at Tirumala, as we have the Arjitha Sevas, Daily / Weekly  Sevas, most of the devotees are not completely happy with the darshans in Tirumala excluding the preferential sevas like VIP break darshan or any other VVIP darshans, the common man always has to have darshan from Dwara Balaka’s which is very far from the sanctum sanctorum often called as Maha Laghu darshan, not even Laghu darshan’s are allowed for the general people. It’s very painful to see that 90% of devotees offer prayer from Maha Laghu, where one cannot have a clear darshan of lord Balaji from very far, and that too in a fraction of second, since we are not allowed to be there not even more than 5 seconds, being pushed out very fast.

To provide certain facts as the Maha Loghu is at a distance of 55 feet, and Laghu is around 25 feet from the Sanctum Sanctorum, could we imagine a darshan of lord virtually from 55 feet away. People come to Tirumala from different parts of the world, only few would be frequent visitors, others plan for months to have the darshan, even very poor people without any major income visits the hill shrine, by taking the steps from Alipiri, availing the free facilities, spending hours of time in the Sarva darshan complex and finally being sent from 55 feet in 5 seconds without a complete satisfaction of having darshan, this is gross injustice to millions of devotees and undemocratic, where the right to religious freedom to have close darshan of lord has been denied to majority of people. We should realize the pain and disappointment of the devotees.

As per TTD,last few years, the Laghu darshan are implemented on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, on ground doesn’t seems to be a reality, the things are same on all days, even when there are no major crowd, people have been sent from Maha Laghu. This could not be a solution citing the number of pilgrims visiting the shrine, the Laghu should be brought back on all days, not just on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, if people are ready to wait patiently for 10 hours, they won’t have any problem of an additional hour or two in case of Laghu, whereas they would have a very satisfying darshan of lord. Only certain festivities, important days like New Year day should be exempted from the Laghu darshan, on all other days, Laghu darshan should be allowed for the devotees to have a close darshan of Lord Venkateshwara.

I here by submitting my humble request on behalf of millions of devotees, to you to please kindly consider implementing Laghu darshan at Tirumala at the earliest, provide everyone an opportunity to have a close, clear and enriching darshan of lord. With the divine grace of Lord Venkateshwara, we look forward the change happening in near future. Request you to acknowledge and respond to my humble request positively at the earliest.
