Prosecute Nepal Maoists in International Criminal Court
The Issue
Nepal Maoists, in order to seize the state power, launched a guerella war, eventually killing more than 15,000 people before assuming the power. After they assumed the power, they started sheltering crime and imposed the rule of terrorism. People do not have any freedom. The country is trapped in the dictatorship of Maoists and their heinous rule. Nepalese have been in tears for past 15 years and there is no force in Nepal who is powerful enough to prosecute these criminals. They have been killing and sheltering criminals in their cabinet. Most of the Maoists lawmakers and legislative body comprises of criminal who have directly killed thousands of people. Maoists do not fear the International Criminal Court (ICC) because Nepal is not a party. They won the election with the power of gun, have been extending their own tenure for past 3 years in order to keep the state power to do things as their will.
ICC will only act upon the consultation of United Nations Security Council (UNSC). As there is no hope of justice from any corner of the world, Nepalese knock the door of UNSC to bring Maoists to justice. Please sign this petition to help end the culture of terrorism and violence. Your signature counts. Humanity will be thankful for your time.

Nepal Maoists embody violence and terror. Despite joining politics, Maoists have not surrendered their lethal weapons. Their marauding thugs-for-hire terrorize, torment and taunt the people day in and day out all over Nepal.
Due to their brutal assault on Nepal, for too long now, Nepalese have lived without peace, order, security and any semblance of stability. The country is reeling in utter chaos. In order to divide and conquer, Maoists have turned Nepal into a fertile ground for ethnic conflict. Nepal is careening towards a hellish cycle of ethnic violence and never-ending conflicts. Because of Maoist policies and actions, a chasm of distrust and animosity has developed between Nepal’s myriad ethnic groups, replacing the understanding and harmony that had developed over centuries.
Maoists have an insatiable appetite for death and destruction. For the last fifteen years, Maoists have been living on a daily diet of the Nepalese people’s blood and treasure. Maoists had no trouble finding bullets to put through people’s heads, but Maoists are shamelessly telling the world that Maoists cannot solve the problems in which Maoists played such a big part in creating.
Maoists are responsible for the massacre of more than fifteen thousand people and the displacement of millions of others by driving them away from their homes and villages. Countless others have been forced to leave the country just to survive.
Maoists have destroyed billions of rupees worth of national property and hundreds of thousands of private property. Maoists’ barbarism simply saw no limit. Maoists were also involved in the desecrations of many temples, schools and national monuments.
But, Maoists heinous crimes did not end there. Maoists have confiscated thousands of people’s land. Maoists were involved in robbing banks and people throughout Nepal at gun point. Maoists kidnapped underage sons and daughters of very poor and naïve parents and trained them to kill and to be killed. Thus, with violence and terror, Maoists quickly turned Nepal into a gruesome killing field.
As a consequence, Maoists have brought the nation to the brink of ruin. It will take generations to recover from the bloodbath and the ashes and rubble Maoists have created. The lack and loss of people’s loved-ones and the unrelenting pain associated with it will endure for generations to come. When future generation read the catalogue of unspeakable horror and tragedy Maoists and their thuggish friends have created in Nepal, it is bound to send a chill down their spines.
Maoists seized power at gun point. As a result, Maoists destroyed Nepal’s toddling democracy and Nepal’s precious 1990’s democratic Constitution. Since Maoists had no belief in democracy, Maoists did not give it a chance to take a baby step. Maoists took advantage of a difficult period of transition to democracy. Nepal’s democracy was restored in Nepal after thirty years of hard-fought often in bitter political struggles by the people. It was largely a non-violent and peaceful revolution championed by Nepal’s great leaders and statesmen. Tragically, Maoists ended it with blazing guns and exploding grenades, creating rivers of blood down the mountains, through the valleys and on to the plains.
Maoists won the so-called constitution assembly elections with firepower. Now Maoists have anointed themselves as Prime Minister through muscle, money and manipulation.
Now, given Maoists appalling background and history, is it possible that Maoists have a positive message to convey to the world? The answer is a resounding “No.” Maoists presence will only serve to lower Nepal’s prestige and standing in the world.
Maoists believe in violence, hate and retribution. Maoists believe in a Marxist totalitarian system. Nepalese believe in democracy, human rights and peaceful process of debate and dialogue to settle differences amongst Nepalese. Nepalese believe in freeing people and Maoists believe in making slaves. Maoists believe in making decisions for people, we allow people to make their own determinations. Nepalese have an abiding faith in a united people and a unified Nepal. Maoists want to divide Nepal and keep Nepal’s people separate from each other. We respect Nepal’s fellow human countrymen’s “life, liberty and pursuit of happiness” as much as we love Nepal’s own. Maoists have proved a total disregard for these quintessential human values in the most inhuman way.
Maoists and their goons took advantage of Nepal’s innocent, naïve, gentle and peaceful people and a weak state. Maoists destroyed not only so many precious lives but their families’ livelihood as well. There are not too many people in Nepal who were untouched by Maoists’ besetting sins of violence and murder, both physically and emotionally.
Let us make sure that democracy, peace and progress reign supreme in Nepal.
