I know you may not know him, and I know there are plenty of people that want to be on Survivor. I am here to tell you that no one deserves to be on this show more than my dad, Greg Kolb. He is the world's biggest Survivor fan, and he has been trying to get on this show for as long as it has been on the air. He applies every season, and every season he is let down. When I ask what he wants for his birthday or Christmas, all he ever says is "I want to have a chance on Survivor." I turned 22 this year, and I do not remember a year when my dad wasn't talking about how nervous he was to record his audition video. Nervous. My dad is never nervous for anything.

When I've talked to him about the show in the past, he has been filled with nothing but excitement. I've asked him "how do you expect to last on the show if you won't even eat a salad let alone what you can find on an island?" His response? "I'd eat whatever it takes. I'll eat worms. I'll eat fish. It doesn't matter." He is dedicated and he just wants his shot at his 30-day journey.

My dad is getting to an age where he is losing his hope of getting on the show, yet he applies anyway. Hope is the last thing that should be lost. If we work together, we can help him live out his dream.
