The Philippines is frequented by typhoons every year. The destruction they cause seems to intensify as time progresses. Global warming is one of the reasons for the increased of tropical cyclones. We have witnessed the tolls that the typhoons had taken on us. If we don't do anything nothing will change. That's the reason why we created this petition. Our aim is to mitigate the calamitous outcomes of flooding through reforestation. Not only do trees help in seeping the water during storms it could also aid in the cooling of our environment. Trees is very beneficial to us. We need take a step and PLANT TREES NOW!!! If each one of us plants one we could plant millions of trees. Not only plant them but nurturing them as well for them to grow. We need to stop being reckless and worry about the future. Let us sustain our environment so that future generations can still live and see the beauty of our mother nature. We deserve a safe future. Let us take responsibility on our actions.
