Hello everyone! We are Advocates from Stop, Look and Learn that raises awareness why disaster preparedness is a must.

What is a disaster? It is a sudden event, such as an accident or a natural catastrophe, that causes great damage or loss of life.

What is disaster preparedness? refers to measures taken to prepare for and reduce the effects of disasters. That is, to predict and—where possible—prevent them, mitigate their impact on vulnerable populations, and respond to and effectively cope with their consequences.

Why is disaster preparedness important? It becomes the foundation of a safe and ready community. It helps us think how we are gonna act to certain disaster, it will reduce panic and bring an organize manner in things like evacuation and order.

Why did we have the courage to do this as an Advocacy? It is because we want to give hope and strength to those people that a is hit by lot of disasters in their life just like in Visayas, Visayas is hit by tons and tons of typhoons we want to give those people hope by preparing them and helping them through this kind of disasters.

Why or what is our goal? We the Advocates of Stop, Look and Learn wants to reduce risk and mortality of future disasters and to help people that have already been hit by certain disasters. We are here to guide and share some knowledge to you all and help each and everyone how to properly prepare in events like earthquakes, floodings, typhoons, volcanic eruption and many more!

We hope that our Advocacy will raise awareness and succeed in in providing sufficient information for you to be aware and ready at times disaster strikes.
