The city wants the Milford Skating Center closed. This establishment has been a staple of the community for years! Shutting it down would mean losing the last thing kids have as entertainment in this town. Many kids walk and the one other place is the bowling lanes and they definitely aren't in walking distance. I grew up there as have my own children. The rink does fundraising for schools, churches, girl scouts, youth groups. They operate the after school skate program which I was a part of when I was in school and the program is still going strong!! Let's speak out and save the heart of this community!
