We the undersigned, are concerned individuals that demand CHANGE for tenants in need. We would like to urge our leaders to act now to improve the living environment of all tenants. The Housing Authority of the City of Charleston failed to acknowledge on-going maintenance issues in a timely manner, and that’s unacceptable.

Many tenants have been silenced by fear, embarrassment, or simply because they desperately need housing assistance. A clean & safe living environment is NON-NEGOTIABLE. Please help me bring awareness to these issues by gathering as one. The more supporters the better, chance we have to bring change for ALL. 

Also, take in consideration that there are innocent children, elderly, and/or sickly individuals who reside in these conditions. WE ARE ALL HUMAN AND ABSOLUTELY NO ONE DESERVES TO LIVE IN THESE CONDITIONS! HOUSING IS A HUMAN RIGHT! It’s time to let our voices be heard! #SpeakNow
