Make your School and Home a Bully-free Zone
Words are not just words, they can sometimes emotionally destroy a person, they can linger in our minds and stain our confidence until we're left with nothing but self-doubt and insecurity.
We tend to usually hear stories about bullying in school and the workplace, but never the idea of bullying at home. Repeated physical violence or verbal and emotional abuse happens between family members. Sibling bullying is the most common type of family violence and is often driven by perceived unequal treatment, name-calling, frequent fault-finding, and failing to acknowledge your presence. Some people ignore such claims as a "normal" part of growing up.
When bullying begins at home, long-term difficulties such as delinquency, social isolation, depression, drug misuse, and other mental health concerns are likely to develop and affect one’s function that even death by suicide can occur. Children needs to be protected, both inside and outside the family.
