RUSH is a band with a 52 year history of trailblazing progressive rock compositions, enthralling live shows; scintillating interviews; plus songs by a few brave bands who covered their material.  The classic lineup began in 1974 with our beloved, recently departed Neil Peart completing the holy triumvirate by assuming the roles of lead lyricist and expert-level percussionist.  The legion of worldwide fans of Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, and Neil Peart are hungry for a station on Sirius/XM Radio dedicated to their vast body of work.  It's about time RUSH was assigned a permanent home on Sirius/XM's satellite radio channel lineup (not just on an app).  

RUSH inspired musicians like no other band. The purity of the guitar, the bass that simply refused to take a back seat, and melodic drums sent young people scurrying to music stores to buy an instrument.  Hours were spent listening to albums on repeat, learning songs, trying to mimic their heroes.  And the lyrics!  Fantasy worlds where anything was possible, flying cars, and humanity-based verses that touched the soul.
