I can't think of anyone in the world that I would love to hear from to console the country and usher us in grieving as a nation - Michelle Obama, a non-politician, a leader, an inspiring figure, an American, and black mother. 

I know this is a long shot, but people will listen to her, and people admire and look up to her.
