Remove all leather from Evernote products.

The Issue

Leather is not an innocent by-product. It offsets the costs of harsh animal exploitation, and you might be surprised to find out what percentage of the funds derived from an animal are from the leather.

Evernote is a healthy and growing company in its prime, and it shows no sign of stopping. In fact, they have stated that they want to hit 1 billion users and they are at least 1/10th of the way there! Unfortunately, Evernote is using their popularity to market several products that contain leather, such as the Triangle Commuter Bag by abrAsus, or many of their wallets.

Evernote didn't team up with a company that happened to use some leather -- it teamed up with abrAsus, a leather smith. These products are made for Evernote and are branded with their logo. Abrasus is latin for "having been shaved off"  -- I have to hope that's just accidentally appropriate, otherwise it's fairly blunt.

It is important to let companies know when their actions do not represent something that you support, since their decisions are intended to attract customers. In other words, they made the products the way they did because they thought that would please you. It is up to us to let them know when that is absolutely not the case.
