What do you think of when you hear the word “wolf”. A vicious predator? A scary animal? Many people think that wolves are an image of terror, but here's the thing, this is  NOT TRUE!!

There are many wolves out there but the Mexican gray wolf is the type of endangered  animal that doesn't pop up as much as any other endangered animal. There are so many reasons why I chose this animal,but first here's some background information. In some place this wolf is called “El Lobo”, this animal runs really fast because of it's sleek body and long legs. In one period of time there were thousands of these wolves, but we're clear the US because of fear of losing livestock, now leaving is just a handful of them. Thankfully in 1998 the US “Fish and Wildlife Services” released 11 wolves, slowly increasing growth in the population, but still making them the most endangered species YET!!!!!!

We should at least try to help these wolves live. You might think just because we don't care much about these animals that it won't affect the world and ecosystem NEWSFLASH!! It does because they have a limited wild animals and their prey from a increasing in the ecosystem. Plus it's sad that one day your child would ask you about these creatures and ask you what were they and you say I don't know because they're GONE. No animal should have to go through all this hate, every animal should at least grow up and know inside that their FREE. Just picture yourself in their paws. How would you feel, if the world said they want to get rid of your kind, but your kind Permanently for no good reason, it feels terrible RIGHT. To know that the world doesn't want you at all. To know that your kind is dying every day from illegal killing when you're only responsible for less than 1% of livestock deaths and never have touched a hair on a human. The world turns their back on these wolves and they are slowly closing their eyes permanently, it's DEPRESSING but it doesn't stop HERE.

There are many things you can do to stop this, ALL OF IT. Make this aware to everyone, friends, family, neighbors, anyone. Or even try to write your very own petition about this, make it aware to the government. Just by doing that you are helping these wolves  have a home again, one where they can't be alone in the battle they are facing, the battle for freedom and a home again.
