Federal Government passed The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 (Public Law 117-169) 

This updated several rules for EV Fed Credit and many of them were not fully clear. 

if you were looking into purchasing Tesla after this time ( I purchased on Dec 10th 2022) you likely experienced below

1) Tesla sales rep pushed you in December to buy now as they are discounting and said Fed credit not well defined and they don’t know what actually you will get etc etc

2) In January, Fed still said it’s in work and extended credit to all and added Tesla good through End of March 2023

3)after Feds above move Tesla reduced priced significantly and enough so folks get full $7500 off in addition to their huge price drop (13k in my case). 

This petition is to request Fed to make post Aug 17th 2022 tesla buyers eligible for EV credit of $7500 as their delay in defining law quickly caused many off us huge loss overnight so at least we deserve the $7500 credit that started Jan 1st 2023
