European Commission Take Action to Protect Thousands of Victims of EDreams Scams
The Issue
Thousands of travellers have taken to TrustPilot, TripAdvisor, Yelp and Facebook to tell stories of being scammed or defrauded by Spanish registered entity Edreams. Nearly 60,000 customers have reported a very bad experience with the company on TrustPilot. Just the Facebook eDreams "fraud" groups have over 4,000 members.
The stories reveal a pattern of taking money without providing promised tickets, demanding more money after full prepayement and confirmation of the sale, and leaving customers without tickets despite charging and confirming the sale, charging customer cards for a club "membership" for months and years they never subscribed to.

Thousands of travellers have reported experiences of money taken from their Credit cards without permission; Money charged and tickets not issued; Travelers in distress report buying tickets and then being left stranded in the middle of the journey in airports forced to fork out money to buy new tickets, no refunds, continually charging cards for services they have not subscribed, and deceptive advertising and promises.
The company website claims it serves over 20 million customers worldwide each year. While a few thousand complaining clients might be a small number, the stories they tell are of suffering and pain.
The list of reported problems is long and grows every day.
We petition European Commission to investigate this company's business practices and force it to end its predatory business practices, misleading advertising and provide the service or tickets customers pay for.
