48% of voters wanted the UK to remain a member of the EU. We accept the democratic will of the majority to leave, but we wish to remain. We therefore petition the European Commission to introduce a Europe-wide citizenship. Citizens of all EU countries should be able to apply for either joint citizenship or EU citizenship. In particular, those of us in the UK who wish to remain will continue to be EU citizens when the UK secedes.
