right now , the salary of civil servant in Ethiopia is the lowest in the world as well as very low when compared to private companies and NGOs across the continuum. for poor countries like Ethiopia to grow retention of best and experienced mind in the public sector is invaluable. But, the prevailing situation in Ethiopia is that as soon as you gain experience and serve your governmental duty, your next goal will be searching  for better paying job. this is natural as per the theory of equity. therefore, this petition is to ask the Ethiopian government to increase the salary of civil servant at least to the level of NGOs and private sector and recruit competent and experienced servants to the public sector. better salary for the Ethiopian public servants!
