I am writing to bring attention to a horrific incident that occurred last month at the Cool Swimming Centre. A 19-year-old lifeguard was brutally assaulted by a group of eight 19-year-old schoolboys, a shocking act of violence that has left our community reeling. This heinous crime cannot and should not be tolerated, and I urge you all to take action to help ensure justice is served.

This type of behavior is completely unacceptable and it is vital that we stand together to send a message that such actions have severe consequences. I am calling on all members of our community to join me in condemning this assault by signing a petition that demands justice for the victim and appropriate punishment for the perpetrators.
