As a member of the therian and furry community, I have witnessed first hand the bullying and discrimination that many of us face. Several of my friends, who identify as therians, have been subjected to bullying which impacts their mental health and hinders their personal growth. Through their experiences, I have understood the urgent need for a safe, specialized educational environment exclusively for therians and furries.

A unique school for therians and furries would provide an environment where students feel safe, understood, and accepted for who they are. In such an environment, students will not only gain an academic education but also have the opportunity to understand and develop their therian identities under proper guidance and without judgment or fear.

Studies have highlighted that students who feel unsafe at school due to bullying find it hard to learn and succeed academically (Source: American Educational Research Journal). Apart from mental health implications, constant fear of being targeted can cause students to avoid school, which is detrimental to their academic performance and future prospects.

The establishment of a specialized school would ensure therians and furries interact with like-minded individuals, encouraging dialogue, understanding and shared experiences. Let's stand together against bullying and advocate for the creation of a safe educational haven for therians and furries.
