My sister's tragic murder left me in a state of profound grief. The only solace I found was in the spiritual practice of Liturgical Dance, a form of worship that became my lifeline and direct communication to God. It is this personal experience that drives me to advocate for the recognition and understanding of this significant art form.

On September 7, 2024, we aim to introduce "Liturgical Dance Day" in Congress. This day will not only raise awareness about the importance and therapeutic benefits of liturgical dance but also educate attendees about its rich history.

Our target audience includes Congressional members, staff, and faith-based community leaders who can help us achieve our objectives. We believe that by recognizing this day officially, we can highlight the spiritual significance of arts advocacy & liturgical movement - something that has often been overlooked or misunderstood.
