Adults should generally remain free to purchase lawful products for private use. Regulation should therefore focus on identifiable harms rather than attempting to prohibit an entire category of adult products.

This petition calls on lawmakers, regulators, manufacturers, and technology companies to develop clear standards for realistic adult dolls, robots, and related technologies.

These standards should:
