We are a large community of Romanian residents in the Dorset and Hampshire counties- Bournemouth-Christchurch-Poole- Southampton- Portsmouth. Our connection to our home country, Romania, is strong and we find ourselves visiting several times a year. However, our journey back home is often marred by the struggle of having to travel to London airports. 

We believe that establishing regular flights from Bournemouth airport directly to Bucharest would greatly alleviate this issue and provide a much-needed service for our community. This isn't just about convenience; it s about time, traffic congestion, pollution

it's about maintaining connections with our homeland and making it easier for us to visit family and friends.

The UK has one of the largest Romanian communities outside Romania with over 411,000 residents (Office for National Statistics, 2019). A significant portion resides in the Bournemouth-Christchurch-Poole area. The demand is there; what we need now is action.
