Our beautiful land of Hawaii has been suffering. As a native Hawaiian, I've witnessed the degradation of our environment and culture firsthand. Our unique ecosystem is under threat, our traditions are being overlooked, and our voice is getting lost in the crowd. It's time for a change.

Hawaii was once a proud independent kingdom with its own distinct culture and governance system before it was annexed by the United States in 1898. Since then, we've seen an increase in tourism that has led to environmental degradation, including coral reef damage and deforestation (source: University of Hawaii research). Furthermore, our unique Polynesian culture is often commodified for tourism purposes rather than respected and preserved.

We believe that establishing Hawaii as an independent nation will allow us to better protect our environment and preserve our cultural heritage.
