I am a resident of Fulshear, living in one of the following subdivisions: Tamarron, Jordan, and Young Ranch. Over time, one thing that has stood out is the absence of cellphone signals in our area, which is not just inconvenient, but dangerous. In cases of emergencies or power outages, the lack of cellular connectivity could pose severe challenges for us to reach out for help.

According to the Federal Communications Commission, natural disasters cause 10 to 45% of yearly cell tower outages. In such moments, the lack of signal is a threat to the residents and their safety. Moreover, data from the Pew Research Center indicates that 96% of Americans own a cellphone of some kind, underlining the fact that cellphones are not a luxury but a necessity in today's day and age.

Fulshear, and more specifically the Tamarron, Jordan, and Young Ranch subdivisions, need to be part of the connected world provided by modern telecommunication capabilities. Our community must not be left in the lurch during emergencies due to no cellular connectivity, with our safety hung in the balance.

We request the relevant authorities, telecommunication giants, and local government bodies to take note and ensure the installation of cellphone towers in our area. This petition is our plea to bring cellular signal to the residents of these subdivisions in Fulshear.
