My father was a longtime friend and employee of Bobby Hamilton, the legendary NASCAR driver whose legacy continues to inspire racing enthusiasts and beyond. Bobby was not only a remarkable driver, but he was also a beloved member of the Mt. Juliet, Tennessee community. He won many hearts with his incredible racing career and dedication to his fans. Sadly, his life was cut short by cancer, a battle that continues to affect countless families.

To honor Bobby's memory and bring awareness to the vicious fight against cancer, this petition calls for the establishment of an annual race day on May 29th—Bobby's birthday—in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.
