Establish a Scholarship Program for Struggling International Students
The issue
Hello, I'm Melody, an international student from the US who has called Australia home for nearly a decade. Currently enrolled in Early Childhood Teaching at Excelsia College, I face a significant financial hurdle—a tuition fee of $15,000. This challenge is compounded by my journey from the demanding world of luxury yacht service, where I served as a stewardess, cook, and deckhand on over 40 yachts across Australia's turquoise waters. The experience was both financially rewarding and energetically draining, often pushing me to multiple burnouts.
My journey to this point has been shaped by resilience and transformation. As the child of refugees who fled the Iranian Revolution, I've learned firsthand the value of perseverance and seizing opportunities abroad. Transitioning from yacht life to biohacking was a natural progression fueled by my own healing journey. I have overcome psoriasis, anxiety, and an incurable illness through self-healing practices like breathwork, energy techniques such as the merkaba, and a transformative 10-day noble silence meditation course called Vipassana. However, despite these achievements, I faced bodily disharmony that Asea, a wellness product, helped alleviate by repairing my cellular health.
With your support, I am petitioning Excelsia College to implement a payment plan for international students like me. This would provide much-needed flexibility in managing tuition costs and alleviate the financial strain that many of us face. By signing this petition, you're advocating for educational accessibility and equity, ensuring that students can pursue their academic dreams without undue financial burden.
My personal struggles, including battling chronic health conditions and overcoming them through holistic practices, have deepened my commitment to wellness education. Asea's impact on my life has been profound, enabling me to share my journey with others facing similar health challenges and inspire them to pursue holistic healing methods.
Your support isn't just an endorsement; it's a call to action for positive change. Together, we can influence Excelsia College to make a meaningful difference in the lives of international students and empower future generations to thrive academically and personally.
Join me in this movement for educational equality. Sign the petition for Excelsia College to implement a payment plan for international students. Together, we can create a brighter, healthier future for all.
Best Wishes,
Melody
