My name is Graysen Carroll and I am from Clawson High school and I think there should be a neighborhood Crime watch in Clawson. Clawson residents including me and my family have faced instances of theft. These incidents not only impact personal property but also the sense of security and trust among our community members. I believe that establishing a local neighborhood crime watch is an important and effective step in helping stop this situation. Crime watches have been shown to contribute significantly to reducing crime rates, according to the U.S. Department of Justice. They foster a cooperative relationship between community members and authorities, leading to a reporting of suspicious activities, resulting in the prevention of theft or crimes in general. It's time to step up as a community and prioritize our shared safety. Sign this petition to urge the City to establish a Neighborhood Crime Watch in Clawson.
