We, the residents of UniverCity, Burnaby, BC, have seen a disturbing rise in thefts and crimes in our neighborhood. Our community, once a haven of peace and safety, has unfortunately become a target for thieves due to slow police responses. The lack of a local police detachment in our area further exacerbates this issue as it results in delayed action to criminal incidents.

UniverCity, Burnaby, BC, a thriving residential region, lacks the necessary security infrastructure to deal with this escalating situation. Based on data from Statistics Canada, crime rates in suburban areas like ours have been steadily rising over the past five years. This is largely attributed to the inadequate presence of law enforcement in these communities.
