My family and I are residents of Angleton, TX. Like many others in our community, we rely on H-E-B for our grocery needs. However, the current store's size and selection are insufficient to meet our growing demands for healthier and more diverse food options.

Our community has grown significantly over the years. The U.S Census Bureau reports that the population of Angleton increased by nearly 10% between 2010 and 2019 (source: U.S Census Bureau). This growth has led to an increased demand for a wider variety of groceries that our current H-E-B cannot adequately provide.

Moreover, there is a rising trend towards healthier eating habits nationwide. A report from the International Food Information Council states that over half of Americans now consider healthfulness when purchasing foods (source: IFIC). We believe it is crucial for us to have access to a broader range of healthy food options right here in Angleton.

We propose the establishment of a larger H-E-B store with an expanded inventory that includes more organic produce, gluten-free products, vegan alternatives and other healthy options. This will not only cater to my family's needs but also benefit all residents who wish to make healthier lifestyle choices.
