Dear Parents

I hope this message finds you well. As a parent whose child attends Whakatane Intermediate School, I am reaching out to you regarding an important opportunity for our students: the establishment of a futsal training program and a team to participate in the 2024 Aims Games. With the deadline for team registrations fast approaching on June 5th, 2024, I believe it's crucial to act swiftly.

I am passionate about coaching the team and believe that futsal offers significant benefits for our children and our school community. Despite my efforts, a proposal I submitted to the Schools Sports Committee was unfortunately denied twice. However, I am not discouraged and am determined to pursue this opportunity further.

By incorporating futsal into our school sports program and participating in the 2024 AIMS Games, we can provide our children with valuable opportunities for growth and competition. I firmly believe that this sport can positively impact our students both on and off the field.

To show our collective support for establishing a futsal team at Whakatane Intermediate School, I urge you to sign this petition. Together, we can demonstrate the importance of this initiative and advocate for our children's sporting interests.
