I work at a daycare center where our only place for children to exert their energy and express their creativity is a local park. It is high time that our community invests in a dedicated children’s fun building that includes trampolines, bouncy houses, and other dynamic and inclusive play equipment.

Children's play is not just frivolous fun. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, playing promotes healthy brain development and helps children develop social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills. An inclusive playground where all children can play together also fosters understanding and compassion among children of different abilities (Pediatrics. 2012;129(1):e204–e213).

Our children deserve places that invite them to play, learn, and grow together. We ask the local city council to invest in a modern children's fun building for the health, well-being, and inclusive development of our children.
