As an ordinary guy who has already felt the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI), I am deeply concerned about its potential implications on every aspect of our lives. From job security to safety, from economic stability to risks such as global warfare, the reach and influence of AI are vast and growing. Together, WE CAN make a difference.

The control over this powerful technology currently lies predominantly in the hands of big tech companies and governments. However, it is crucial that we all have a say in how AI is developed and used because it affects us all. Therefore, I propose the establishment of a centralized Council that includes ordinary citizens like me, politicians, and representatives from tech companies.

This Council will serve as a platform for open debate on the impact of AI on humanity. It will ensure that decisions made about AI are balanced and considerate of everyone's interests - not just those with power or money.

According to PwC's Global Artificial Intelligence Study (2017), up to 38% jobs could be automated by early 2030s due to advancements in AI. This statistic alone underscores why we need an inclusive dialogue now more than ever.
