I'm just a kid living in Newfoundland and I really yearn for a Build-a-Bear Workshop in our province. Here in Newfoundland, we have a vast number of malls and shopping centers, yet there's something missing that other provinces have - a magical place called Build-a-Bear. You may wonder why such a place is so crucial for us.

Build-A-Bear Workshop isn't just a store. It is a place where personal creativity and imagination spark a beautifully crafted outcome - a personalized teddy bear. Having the opportunity to create your own bear is a joyous experience that every child should have the chance to enjoy. From stuffing your bear, to picking out its outfit, to naming it, each step of the process creates an emotional bond between a child and their designed bear. Sadly, for us Newfoundland kids, this process is but a dream.

Whilst every other province in Canada has this enchanting place, Newfoundland does not. The nearest Build-a-Bear outlet is a flight away - a journey unfeasible for a kid like me and many others. Considering the potential number of kids in Newfoundland who would be thrilled to have a Build-A-Bear Workshop in their vicinity, it would not only establish a popular attraction, but also promote emotional well-being and creativity.

It's time to bring a Build-A-Bear Workshop to Avalon Mall and give Newfoundland kids the same joy and creativity that their peers in other provinces have.
