Bring College Game Day to Houston. Unify the city and the country after Hurricane Harvey!

The first FBS football game in Houston after Hurricane Harvey will be Saturday, September 16th between crosstown rivals Houston Cougars and Rice Owls. We would like to see ESPN College Gameday come to Houston to show the nation what #HoustonStrong is all about!
Hurricane Harvey has caused previously unimaginable amounts of devastation in Southeast Texas, but historical floods, storm surges and heavy winds are not enough to keep the region down. As devastating as this storm has been, it has been uplifting to see the region overcome adversity. Houston is one of, if not the, most diverse cities in America, but that did not stop people from every walk of life coming together in a time of need. Whether it be first responders going days without seeing their families while risking their lives, to reporters jumping in chest deep waters to help flood victims, to the Cajun Navy mobilizing in short notice to provide much needed boats to help save lives, this has been a story of triumph and people coming together in a time when our nation seems to be as divided as ever.
