Support the Escambia County School Dress Code

Support the Escambia County School Dress Code
The Issue
The Silent Majority of Students and their values are under attack. Our school's decency and professionalism is at risk. The values we hold are being disregarded. We are losing our say.
A loud and vocal minority of students, those who do not respect authority. Those who do not mind breaking the rules because of their feelings. Those who shout. They are attempting to abolish the dress code. The fundamental reasoning behind their support is a twisted view of liberty and equality. They believe that you can do anything as long as it does not immediately and physically harm another student. Wrong. Your actions have consequences.
We, the Silent Majority of Students, understand that decency, professionalism, and personal responsibility are key values for a successful, orderly, and safe school environment. We do not believe in breaking the rules. We do not believe in skipping class because we're offended by what a faculty member said.
We are the students who try hard and follow the rules. We believe that the school system works best when it is organized as a professional learning environment. We believing having a safe and orderly school culture is crucial.
We want to make one thing clear: if you support the dress code because you believe females are at fault for sexual assault and rape, this petition is not for you. Rather, we support the dress code because it fosters order, safety, and professionalism.
Which is why we, the Silent Majority of Students, are asking that you sign this petition in support of the Escambia County School District's dress code and are asking the Escambia County School Board to continue the dress code.
