30 years ago in 1991 Los Angeles, 15 year old, Latasha Harlins was shot by a Korean convenience store Soon Ja Du,  It was not an accident it was a racist hate crime. She shot her over an $1 juice. Claiming she was stealing it although Latasha had the money in her hand. What on the earth!! She didn't even get jail time rather the white Judge Joyce Karlin gave Latasha's murderer 400 hours of community Service and an $500 fine. Joyce Karlin has retired from her position as Judge claiming she "wants to spend more time with her family", but we all know the real reason.

I don't think it's too late to get justice for Latasha Harlins, she never knew her mother, her mother also was brutally shot on November 27, 1985, in a Los Angeles nightclub. No justice for this family at all. With her aunt passing away in 2018.

I understand it has been 30 years, Soon Ja Du is 78 years old currently, let her remain her lastly years in jail. With the recent death of George Floyd the media was been awoken by our voices. We have been able to change and remove many racist brands such as Aunt Jemima, Uncle Ben and many more.
