Not a single student, and let alone half of the teachers I have personally talked to about this topic,  understand how hats could possibly affect learning in any way at all. I understand that it can be a hazard for hiding objects, or whatever the excuse is, but it can be just as easy to hide something in a pocket or sock. Hats can actually be a way to help students learn better. When students look good, they feel good, and then do good in whatever it may be. For students with longer hair, hats can actually be a great way to help us keep it out of our way and make us less distracted. Long story short, the no hat rule must be changed and there are numerous reasons I and other sutdents/ teachers can support and back up. Thank you.
