As a student at Putnam High School, the student restriction I experience isn’t as noticeable as in other schools. We are lucky to be able to express ourselves through posters, announcements, and some actions, although we do get restricted. Other schools however, get suspended, or even receive a detention when they speak their mind to a student or faculty member, and can’t even state an opinion without being restricted. I want to stop the restriction of students across the nation, because although I’m not being badly restricted, I know how bad it can be. There’s always a chance of my school getting worse, and the change can be prevented if people work together to stop the restriction.
