Equal treatment for Hero’s who saved lives in Bondi Incident.

Equal treatment for Hero’s who saved lives in Bondi Incident.
The issue
It is quite appreciable that Australian government has shown high humanitarian standards and ethical value by Offering Australian citizenship to ‘Bollard Man’ the French citizen (Damien Guerot), who confronted the killer Joel Cauchi to save the public. His bravery is remarkable and must have been celebrated as being a Good Samaritan.
However, it must be noted that he wasn’t alone in this bravery. Some people have even gone a further beyond and risked their lives to protect others. As a security guard Faraz lost his life while delivering his duty; and his fellow guard Umer Taha is still fighting for his life in hospital while trying to stop the demon. He got severe injuries and is now in stable condition but still not recovered to be discharged from hospital.
As the principles of EEO, justice, equality and humanitarian values, he should have been treated equally as French men, whom citizenship was offered without any delay.
Therefore, we request and demand Australian government to treat people equally and acknowledge Taha’s sacrifice to save others; and offer him Australian citizenship on the same grounds as Damien Guerot was offered.
If his dedication to duty and selfless commitment to the safety of the community is not acknowledged, it will be unfair and discriminatory approach, which is not the Australian way.
This is petition initiated by Mr Naeem Ahmed and SMS law chambers on paper, which we have brought on line.
