The Issue

WHY ASK "ETHNICITY" IF IT IS REALLY AN " EQUAL OPPORTUNITY" SOCIETY AND SYSTEM ?

This campaign will change the lives and well-being of every Black & Asian & minority Ethnic communities and will make UK a more fairer society and system. 

 

Over the past few decades Britians ethnic minority population has increased significantly. From around 1 million in 1971, it rose to 8 million in 2011 census. While there has been some improvement due to actions & voices of BAME over the past decade, BUT there STILL remains significant ethnic inequality & RACISM.

 

BBC News 17th February 2019, David Yamba found "No Blacks" painted on three doors in his block of flats in Salford.

Mon 18th February 2019, LBC radio presenter, Maajid Nawaz was involved in an alleged racist attack, called (F***ing P*ki) and punched in the face in Central London.


I started this campaign after +30 years of living, studying and work experience in the UK, am +50.


Am sure I am not the only one seeing discrimination all around us in different walks of life and I truly believe in most cases the starting point is when we fill The Forms to Apply for Jobs, Health-care, Finance, Legal, Education and other walks of life, etc. 


DISCRIMINATION makes one BITTER, changes them mentally and there personality. Changing this law is beneficial and vital for different Ethnicity and Black people's well-being. 


Discrimination hurts dignity.


I TRULY BELIEVE , "EQUAL OPPORTUNITY" SECTION IN FORMS IS IN-FACT A "SELECTIVE OPPORTUNITY" METHOD AND ITS JUST FILTERING ETHNIC AND BLACK MINORITIES FROM THE START. 
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY SEGREGATES WHITES FROM OTHERS.

SLAVERY GOT ABOLISHED AND VISIBLE CHAINS WERE DISMANTLED BUT INVISIBLE CHAINS OF "BUREAUCRAT CLAWS" ARE STILL CONFINING/CONTROLLING DIFFERENT ETHNIC VIA EQUAL OPPORTUNITY SOCIETY AND SYSTEM CODE OF PRACTICE.

IT'S LIKE GIVING FROM ONE HAND AND TAKING BACK FROM THE OTHER.


BBC News June/July 2018, in Mental Health UK white English receive better and more frequent care opportunity over blacks and other ethnic communities.


BBC News 27th December 2018, Blacks and other ethnic paid a lot less then their white colleges doing the same job.  

 

BBC News 9th November 2018, an Afghan barrister sacked by clients for Not being White. 

 

BBC News 28th December 2018, Dawn Butler Labour MP Statement on pay gap between whites and blacks and other ethnic, "We should only write our names on application forms when applying for job".

 

Like in France, they only ask your Name address and qualification/experience and no nonsense of Equal Opportunity.

 

This will change the way we think and will treat people on MERIT and improve our financial and living circumstances and standards. 

 

Politicians will talk and talk but this Nationwide Action will be first concrete step towards making this a really an Equal Opportunity society. 

 

Government and politicians should "take out" the section of "equal opportunity" from the Forms to show that they really want to make this a fairer society and system rather only just give the talk, now they should walk the talk also. 

 

As we know, Politics is the Art of delaying till it's no longer viable. 

Need visible, clear and solid ACTIONS.


24th July 2018, Jeremy Corbyn MP (LABOUR LEADER) Brexit speech Birmingham, racism/discrimination  at work or any other walk of life is not tolerable.

 

WHY ASK ETHNICITY IF IT IS "REALLY" AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY SOCIETY AND SYSTEM. 

 

I am sure then the issue of Names and Surname will arise as some will still be discriminated just because of their names, and am also sure one day discriminating mentality will completely diminish as new generation takes over the system. 

 

BUT TO GET THERE, WE NEED TO START AND BRING THE CHANGE NOW! 

 

It should not be misunderstood, one is proud of their ethnicity but the labelling, announcing, categorizing and judging is not acceptable. 


"Equal Opportunity" to be "taken Out" from "Forms" as it's makes it a "Selective Opportunity".

Criminal justice system swede towards white race. Police also has criteria for whites and others. 


This petition should reach the Parliament to be discussed and Legislation to be Pass, we ALL have to do our bit, IE, US & THE GOVERNMENT. 


I know the Government will argue strongly to keep this system of having equal opportunity section in the Forms, as am sure their are hidden agenda, like always. 


To be logical and fair the only department that should be allowed to know our ethnicity is the Home Office and NO One else needs to know as it's fair to say, IF IT'S REALLY AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY SOCIETY AND SYSTEM THEN SHOULDN'T BE ASKED IN THE FIRST PLACE . 

 

BBC News 1st February 2019, in education "acceptance and passing percentage of Whites is 80 to 85 percent where as Black's Asian's is 50 to 55 percent". 

I believe, this is not due to lack in any qualities or abilities but because BAME are busy with tough survival mostly due to equal opportunity as equal opportunity has a vicious circle effecting generations so how can the mind be relaxed and free to progress and make the right choices.
