I would like to start a petition to vault one of the most unskilled and overpowered guns in the game. This gun is, the minigun. There are multiple reasons this gun needs to be vaulted, but at the very least, the minigun needs to be nerfed. Here are my top 3 reasons the gun should be vaulted/nerfed. The gun takes absolutely no skill to use, it is overpowered, and it is very easy to find. 

      The first issue with the minigun is that it takes no skill to use. All you have to do is hold down your shoot button and spray. There is a little bit of a cool down on it, but the cool down is way too short. If you see someone who is boxed up, walk up to their box, and spray and pray. This strategy is very effective especially if you have Brutus’ minigun.

       The second issue with the minigun is that it is overpowered. The current purple minigun has a fire rate of 12 (regular AR has a fire rate of 5.5) and does an absurd 20 damage. You can kill someone with full HP and full shield in 7 shots (less than a second) if you hit all headshots. All if  that is just with a purple minigun! 

      The final issue with the minigun is that it is super easy to find. This leads to people picking it up and then issues 1 and 2 happen. The gun is very common to find and personally, I find it multiple times a game. 

      These are just 3 of the multiple issues with the minigun in Epic Games’ Fortnite Battle Royal. These problems could be resolved by a nerf of the gun, but the minigun needs to go. The gun was vaulted for some time a while ago and the game was so much more fun without it. This is why Epic Games should vault the minigun.
