Epal.gg is a site where you can make money playing video games or through other services and you can also hire others as well.

I'm completely aware of all the problems you all face / have faced on the Epal site. You're all there to make money, some come to make friends, or whatever your reasons are. I know a lot of you face the following ongoing negative issues:

• Harassment
• Stalking
• Scammers
• Online threats
• NSFW abuse
• Order boosting (They changed their polices, nothing more can be done about it) updated 10/28/2022)

A lot of you experience these issues everyday and it made some of you leave the site. Aren't y'all getting tired of DMs like these that waste your time? Because I'm honestly tired of giving the same advice over and over with "Block, ignore, and report them to Epal staff." only to have the same people harassing Epals make new accounts to continue to harass. Harassments include asking for sexual content/favors, death threats, blackmailing, finding out people's information, etc. I'm tired of Epals who I've felt like I've made a connection with just leave because of this. WE THE COMMUNITY HAVE HELPED BUILT EPAL AND WITHOUT US, EPAL WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN WHERE IT IS TODAY.

 

OUR MISSION

1. Make a video speech directly to the executives of EPAL
2. Make a petition and gather 100+ signatures
3. Stop or cut down as much of the negativity surrounding the site as possible
4. Improve the quality of life on Epal
5. Challenge the leaders of Epal to address said issues through their own speech to the community

OUR SOLUTIONS TO THE ISSUES:

• The harassments, NSFW requests, stalking, and scammers is an obvious issue here and it's been going on for a very long time. The reporting system could be way better. I've personally witness many Epals being harassed, reported to Epal about the situation, only to have the person who is harassing make a new account to continue doing so. Many Epals leave the site because of this. Everyone knows this is a lose-lose for business and for everyone. When the people had enough, they're going to end up leaving with a bad perception of Epal and affecting the public image of the site.

SOLUTION: I know there is an IP address ban set for those who have broken the rules, but VPN users have worked around this. I suggest a phone verification system for those who create new accounts.

• The potential clients Epal attracts with their promotional videos may be the wrong crowd, coming across as suggestive and provocative. A lot of people will come to site thinking that this is a site where you can ask for 18+ content. Why continue doing this if your targeted clients are 13+ years old? (SEE REFERENCES BELOW FOR THE "GOOD BOY" PROMO)
• This also applies to several individual Epals who come off as very suggestive. When you are coming off as suggestive, you are going to get NSFW requests coming your way. People are going to shoot their shot on you for doing so. (SEE REFERENCES BELOW FOR E-PAL'S COMMUNITY GUIDELINES ON EXPLICIT CONTENT)

SOLUTION: It's either you commit to this being an 18+ site or a 13+ with no sexually provocative content. I will not tell you how to run things Epal, choose one.

• If you care about winning events with prizes involved, there are a lot of E-Pals and clients that are order boosted that win the prizes. There is no way someone can possibly complete 500+ League of Legends games in a day. It is against Epal's rules to do so, but it continues happening anyway. I know a handful of clients out there hire multiple Epals at one time for events and this is the only valid way someone can get a high number of orders.

SOLUTION: Have your moderating team or the community assess the number of orders a client has placed and the number of orders an EPal has received on the various leaderboards. If it looks obviously boosted? You know what to do.

I intend to lead the way to send a no BS message to CEO.
I WILL MAKE SURE YOUR VOICES ARE HEARD. I CANNOT PROMISE ANY OF YOU WE WILL MAKE BIG CHANGES, THERE ARE STILL ONGOING PROBLEMS ON THE INTERNET THAT STILL CAN'T BE ADDRESSED.

 

PS: There is no animosity directed towards Epal as a company. I really want Epal to do good and it is NOT PERFECT, NOR TERRIBLE BY ANY MEANS. I want a better quality of life for everyone here.
