Like many others in southwestern Florida, I live but a few miles from the beaches bordering the Gulf of Mexico. Right now, Red Tide is a huge public concern, killing off scores of marine life, such as beloved dolphins and manatees, and even affecting beachgoers health. My roommates and many others have recently fallen ill due to the toxic conditions at the beach. I don't want to see any more dolphins wash up on shore. I don't want to hear about another person falling ill because of this toxic algae. We need to band together in voice and in compassion to help fight this terrible anomaly devastating our wildlife and our neighbors. The Ocean needs your help, the fish need your help, the locals need your help, .... I need your help.
