Philipsburg–Osceola's vibrant sports community owes much to the dedication and unwavering commitment of coaches Michael Herr and Matt Green. For years, these coaches have tirelessly nurtured our students, turning them into outstanding athletes and, more importantly, responsible individuals. Their influence extends beyond the sports field, impacting the broader Philipsburg–Osceola community with their integrity, mentorship, and continuous support.

It is with heavy hearts that we learned about their abrupt dismissal, a decision that seems detached from the values and standards they have consistently embodied. Coach Herr and Coach Green have always prioritized our students' growth, fostering not only athletic prowess but instilling life lessons in teamwork, perseverance, and ethics.

The Philipsburg–Osceola School District must recognize the invaluable contributions these coaches have made, not only in terms of wins and losses, but in building character and resilience in their students.
