A GoFundMe campaign was organized by Nadia, who claims to be a friend of Mamta. It was created on August 13th, using a photo of Mamta and Neema. Initially, the funds were intended to support the search for Mamta. However, as the campaign gained traction and donations increased, Nadia began posting updates with different objectives. There is strong evidence showing that Nadia solicited donations for Neema's care and benefit, but subsequently revealed that the funds would not be directed to 1 year old Neema.

Members of the community have raised concerns, questioning the use of the funds, but many report being blocked by Nadia when attempting to seek clarification. This raises fears that the funds may not be used as originally intended and could potentially be for personal gain.

Nadia, like many others, began as a volunteer during the search efforts. However, using Mamta's and Neema's image for fundraising without clear accountability undermines the trust of those donating.
