Ensure Examination Accountability: Address Student Grievances & Support Sonam Wangchuk’s D
The Issue

Respected Minister and Educational Authorities,
We, the students and citizens of India, are launching this petition to draw urgent attention to the ongoing crisis in our country's examination system and to echo the demands of renowned educationist and activist Sonam Wangchuk, who is currently on an indefinite hunger strike at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.
Sonam Wangchuk has completed 19 days of his fast, risking his health and life to fight for the future of millions of students who have been deeply affected by systemic irregularities, paper leaks, and lack of accountability in competitive examinations like NEET-UG.
The youth are the backbone of this nation. When national-level exams suffer from leaks and mismanagement, it doesn't just waste years of hard work; it shatters the trust of the entire student community in the fairness of the system. Mr. Wangchuk’s message is clear: the government must take immediate, transparent accountability, and we cannot remain silent.
Through this petition, we collectively demand:
Immediate Government Dialogue: The Ministry of Education must officially engage in an open and transparent dialogue with Sonam Wangchuk and student representatives to address the issues raised at Jantar Mantar.
Absolute Examination Accountability: A complete overhaul of the examination security measures to ensure zero paper leaks in the future, along with strict legal action against those responsible for past lapses.
Institutional Reforms: Independence and high-level judicial oversight for testing bodies like the NTA to restore the transparency and integrity of student assessments.
We urge the government not to ignore this peaceful, youth-led agitation. The life of a national leader like Sonam Wangchuk and the academic future of India's students are at stake.
To everyone reading this: Please sign and share this petition widely. Let’s stand with Sonam Wangchuk from our homes and make our voices heard before the Parliament's upcoming Monsoon session.
